Overview

Kelsey O’Brien zealously advocates on behalf of individual and institutional healthcare providers, guiding them through all phases of the complex litigation process. Meticulous and personable, she makes clients feel comfortable and confident in their representation.

Kelsey expertly conducts depositions, skillfully reviews and analyzes large scale medical records, and engages in purposeful meetings with medical experts to ensure the best possible outcome for her each of her clients.

She devotes herself to making the litigation process smooth for physicians and hospitals, and dedicates extensive attention and detail to each individual case. She gained experience while working in the Supreme Court, Suffolk County for Justice Paul Baisley and with the Suffolk County District Attorney’s office in the Major Crime Bureau.

Kelsey’s respect for medicine and the healthcare community drives all aspects of her work. This has propelled her to win multiple summary judgment motions on behalf of the medical professionals she represents, as well as the dismissal of a case for lack of standing where the plaintiff failed to disclose that he had filed for bankruptcy.
