Overview

Cynthia is an accomplished litigator who defends doctors, nurses, hospitals and other healthcare providers in high-stakes medical malpractice litigation from case inception to trial. For the entirety of her career, Cynthia has focused her practice exclusively on medical malpractice defense.

Over thousands of hours, Cynthia has honed exceptionally effective skills: defending clients at depositions, examining witnesses, and aggressively capturing success through oral arguments in the courtroom and beyond. These capabilities are complemented by shrewd legal writing and research, which has culminated in multiple wins in summary judgment motions, Frye motions, alternative dispute resolution, and trials.

Cynthia’s approach to client service is centered on the belief that there’s more to successful advocacy than rote skills from law school. She brings to the table a unique manner of relating with all parties involved in a case: She listens to her clients; she anticipates and avoids future potential risk; and she identifies not only the best legal arguments but the best manner in which those should be made based upon the circumstances and parties involved.

Prior to joining the firm, Cynthia was in private practice in medical malpractice defense in both New York and New Jersey. She has volunteered her time in the community as an advocate for the Nassau County Coalition Against Domestic Violence and with Meals on Wheels America.
