SACS Secures Dismissal of Federal Action
Shaub, Ahmuty, Citrin & Spratt, LLP achieved a dismissal of a federal lawsuit alleging violations of civil rights and the RICO Act, and state law causes of action.
The plaintiff brought suit against a hospital client and various other defendants. We moved to dismiss on behalf of our client based on the plaintiff’s failure to state a cognizable claim and for failure to provide a short and plain statement.
The court ultimately found that dismissal was warranted and leave to amend would be futile.
