Julia Wetzel

Julia A. Wetzel’s healthcare experiences and expertise allows her to zealously advocate and guide medical providers for growth in a dynamic healthcare marketplace.

Julia utilizes her past experiences to develop her practice. Prior to joining Shaub, Ahmuty, Citrin & Spratt, LLP, she assisted in providing innovative, data-driven, and practical solutions for entities in the life-science industry. She advised these providers in meeting challenges and tailoring solutions for industry growth. Julia also has experience working with numerous experts on several expert reports, covering a variety of disputes and issues in healthcare. While working on these expert reports, Julia was able to take unstructured data and issues, and through research develop cogent arguments for litigation. She was last employed by Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in their Compliance and Internal Audit Department. During her time at MSKCC, she assisted the compliance team and legal department in resolving the hospitals’ most critical regulatory and legal challenges.

Additionally, while in law school Julia was a member of Health Law Society. Her extensive background focused on healthcare law, policy, and compliance. She understands how crucial it is to continue to expand services and capabilities to assist in leading the way in innovative care. Hospitals, healthcare systems, healthcare companies and providers face various challenges as they navigate the highly competitive and regulated healthcare industry. Julia can assist in meeting these challenges, developing solutions, and positioning these entities for growth.
