A Summary Judgment Win in Nassau County

Congratulations to Anthony Ruzzi in winning summary judgment in Nassau County. In a complex case involving allegations of negligence in diagnosing kidney cancer, Mr. Ruzzi highlighted how the plaintiff’s theories against our radiologist and insured hospital were meritless. Through the supportive affirmations of two experts, Mr. Ruzzi successfully argued that there was no indication that the patient was suffering from kidney cancer at the time of the imaging and irrespective, even if the patient’s renal cell carcinoma had been diagnosed sooner, the positioning of the tumor rendered the patient’s surgery equally as high-risk. The plaintiff could not rebut Mr. Ruzzi’s assertions and after careful consideration the court ruled in our favor, completely dismissing the Complaint against our clients.
