Another Victory at Trial for Joseph Alexander

Please join us in congratulating trial partner Joseph Alexander for his latest victory at trial.  In a Nassau County case involving claims of a facial laceration with permanent scarring to a 31-year-old plaintiff, Joseph was representing one of our most respected hospital clients.  Throughout the trial, he was able to make out a clear case that the anesthesiologist involved was not an employee of our facility. Further, he was able to defeat plaintiff’s claims of vicarious liability under Mduba which allowed him to convince the judge to enter a directed verdict thereby winning the case for the hospital. Our associates Anthony Ruzzi and Michael Pitre were also instrumental in authoring some of the key motions in limine.
