Another Defense Verdict for SACS

Congratulations to trial partner Bill Spratt, whose superior legal defense theory and litigation skills were recently recognized by a unanimous Suffolk County jury. In a case involving a severely ill patient with acute pneumonia and a cascading series of interrelated gastrointestinal illnesses, SACS’ attorneys were able to win summary judgment for six of our seven clients, leaving only a claim of untimely surgical intervention against the final defendant. After a lengthy trial involving multiple expert specialists, Bill Spratt prevailed in convincing the jury that our final defendant’s care was entirely appropriate, with the jury returning a defense verdict in under two hours!
