Michael Pitre Selected to Long Island Business News 30 Under 30 List
Congratulations to Michael Pitre, who has been named to the 2023 Long Island Business News 30 Under 30 list. Winners will be formally recognized at an award ceremony on Aug. 8.
The publication’s 30 Under 30 awards were established to honor the bright and dynamic young professionals who contribute to the Long Island community through public service and who have made significant strides in business.
In addition to his significant achievements as a member of the firm’s Healthcare Litigation team, Michael was selected based on his meaningful industry involvement and active commitment to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society and American Foundation for Suicide Prevention.
In his day-to-day practice, Michael represents healthcare providers, hospital representatives and insurance carriers in complex medical malpractice matters. Despite only being admitted to practice law in 2021, Michael demonstrates an advanced skill-set and high level of competency in the field. Most notably, he recently obtained a hard-fought summary judgment dismissal in favor of his clients — a pediatric orthopedic surgeon and his practice — in a seven-figure medical malpractice case. Further, in the past two years, Michael has continued to sharpen his written and oral advocacy skills across all phases of medical malpractice litigation, including at depositions, court conferences, and oral arguments before judges.
