Victoria Lazaro skillfully advises physicians, facilities, claims representatives and insurance carriers through each step of the litigation process, yielding successful outcomes for each client. She has a comfortable ease speaking in a courtroom and with clients, allowing her to fully advocate for their best interests.
Passionate and hardworking, Victoria prides herself on being an honest, strong communicator who continuously guides the medical professionals she represents in the right direction. Her experience as a member of The Frank S. Polestino Trial Advocacy Institute (PTAI), St. John’s University’s trial advocacy program, helped hone and develop her superior communication skills.
Prior to joining Shaub, Ahmuty, Citrin & Spratt in 2019, Victoria worked in the medical field as a Client Care Coordinator and as a secretary to the Chief of the OB/GYN department at Meridian Health, giving her the knowledge and experience to skillfully manage the firm’s elaborate caseload and tailor communication to clients’ level of comfort.
Interning under the chief administrative law judge at the New York State Division of Human Rights, Victoria learned the ins and outs of the legal process, now allowing her to diligently advise clients through the various stages of litigation, including developing strategies and potential resolutions.
Victoria zealously works to obtain the best possible outcome for the healthcare professionals and facilities she represents, and helped draft a motion to get a verdict reduced from nearly $8 million to $800,000 for her client.
