Overview

Melanie Ross prioritizes each healthcare professional she represents, forming comfortable and caring relationships that put physicians at ease as she navigates them through all phases of litigation. She prides herself on being constantly available and is always ready to immediately address any concerns that may arise.

Melanie approaches each unique case with empathy for all parties, putting herself in the shoes of the physician as she passionately advocates on their behalf. Her experience clerking for Nassau County Family Court Justice Edmund Dane and at a prominent Long Island plaintiffs firm made her intricately familiar with the processes of court procedure and litigation. Her unique experiences provide her with an unequaled perspective that allows her to analyze each case from both sides, providing the most effective defense for each of her clients.

Melanie also participated on the moot court team during law school, where she was one of the final four semifinalists, and is a certified mediator. She is exceptionally skilled at balancing clients and adversaries needs to reach a goal-oriented solution and crafts strong written and oral arguments.

She vigorously works to obtain the best possible resolution for each of her clients through diligent analysis of medical records, informative meetings with physicians and department heads, and efficacious representation in court. Melanie has aided in defense verdicts and successfully gotten cases dismissed on motion practice.
