Overview

Audrey A. Lark is a seasoned, results-oriented litigator with 15 years of experience in medical malpractice and nursing home defense. Known for her thorough trial preparation and strategic case assessments, she brings both depth of knowledge and unwavering commitment to advancing her clients’ interests in complex healthcare-related litigation.  

Audrey’s practice encompasses all facets of medical malpractice and nursing home defense. She drafts and argues motions, conducts expert conferences and depositions, analyzes medical records, and makes court appearances. Audrey works closely with claims examiners and medical directors to evaluate liability, damages, and settlement opportunities. Her careful valuations and summary judgment assessments contribute to informed, outcome-driven case strategies.  

Before joining Shaub, Ahmuty, Citrin & Spratt, LLP, Audrey spent four years at a boutique law firm in the Hudson Valley, where she built a strong reputation for meticulous trial preparation and effective communication with medical and insurance professionals. Earlier in her career, she held key associate roles at several well-regarded defense firms, consistently managing high-stakes litigation from inception through trial.  

After law school, Audrey became an Assistant District Attorney in Bronx County, where she tried both felony and misdemeanor cases and presented to grand juries. She developed a strong foundation in courtroom procedure and evidentiary analysis.  

Widely respected for her diligence, insight, and professionalism, Audrey is committed to achieving just and efficient outcomes while upholding the highest standards of legal advocacy. 

In addition to her legal practice, Audrey is deeply engaged in community service and advocacy. She serves as Vice Chair on the Board of Independent Living, Inc., an organization committed to empowering individuals with disabilities. Audrey is also a board member of The Newburgh Ministry, a Hudson Valley nonprofit that provides support to members of the community who find themselves in need of assistance. Through this work, she helps individuals in crisis become stronger advocates for themselves, reflecting her broader commitment to justice, dignity, and community well-being.
