Overview
Janai Fraser is a dedicated, results-driven litigator known for her sharp advocacy and commitment to just outcomes. She delivers strategic, client-centered representation in complex legal matters.
Before joining SACS, Janai served as an Assistant District Attorney at the Kings County District Attorney’s Office, where she successfully prosecuted more than 150 cases, including felonies and misdemeanors. She handled every stage of litigation, from legal research and motion practice to jury trials and plea negotiations, while collaborating closely with law enforcement, victims, and expert witnesses.
During law school, Janai interned for the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the District of New Jersey and volunteered at the Intellectual Property Legal Clinic at Rutgers Law School, where she provided legal assistance to nonprofits, artists, and entrepreneurs on matters ranging from copyright and trademark to licensing and business formation. Janai was also a judicial intern to the Honorable Marysol Rosero in the Essex County Superior Court’s Criminal Division, gaining firsthand insight into judicial decision-making and trial strategy.
