Overview
Clients can rely on Alexandra to bring a disciplined, well-rounded perspective to every matter she handles. With more than a decade of experience defending major metropolitan hospitals and nursing care facilities in complex medical malpractice and healthcare litigation, she brings a deep command of each case's legal and clinical dimensions. From initial case assessment through discovery, motion practice, expert conferences, and trial preparation, Alexandra manages all aspects of litigation with precision and a commitment to achieving the best possible outcome for her clients.
Before joining Shaub, Ahmuty, Citrin & Spratt, LLP, Alexandra built her career at two healthcare litigation defense firms. Most recently, she served as a senior associate, where she handled day-to-day management of a robust caseload representing healthcare institutions, drafted dispositive motions, conducted depositions, and prepared cases for trial. Before that, she spent nearly a decade developing deep experience in motion and appellate practice, medical and legal record review, expert witness coordination, and case management communications with claims examiners, hospital administrators, and insurance professionals.
Alexandra's legal career also includes a foundation in general litigation and defense work at a full-service New York firm, as well as early regulatory compliance experience at Prudential, where she reviewed marketing and advertising materials for compliance with securities law across multiple jurisdictions. Additionally, she served as an Adjunct Professor of Business Law at Wagner College, reflecting her commitment to the legal profession beyond the courtroom.
Alexandra began her legal career with judicial internships at the Richmond County Supreme Court, clerking for the Honorable Judith N. McMahon, and at the Richmond County Surrogate's Court under the Honorable John A. Fusco, where she gained early exposure to a broad range of civil matters.
