Overview

Advaita M. Naik brings a strong litigation background to her practice, drawing on experience in insurance fraud defense, medical record analysis, and complex motion practice to develop strategic, evidence-driven approaches to medical malpractice defense.

Before joining Shaub, Ahmuty, Citrin & Spratt, LLP, Advaita was an associate attorney at a firm on Long Island, where she focused on no-fault insurance defense litigation. She independently managed no-fault insurance claims from discovery through dispositive motion practice.

Prior to that, Advaita served as a student associate at a boutique law firm in New Jersey, where she gained broad exposure across commercial litigation, real estate, trusts and estates, and zoning and land use matters. Earlier, she served as a legal intern at The Jeweler's Vigilance Committee in New York, where she provided legal support and advocacy to jewelry industry clients on matters involving international and federal trade compliance, labor standards, and ethical sourcing practices.

Advaita began her legal career as a summer associate in the Office of General Counsel and Institutional Compliance at Touro University, where she conducted legal research and drafted memoranda on regulatory compliance issues including Title IX and the ADA.

Throughout her career, Advaita has developed strong skills in motion practice, medical record analysis, litigation management, and working with medical and institutional witnesses. This foundation translates directly to the demands of medical malpractice defense. She is committed to bringing thorough, strategic legal counsel to every matter and to effectively advocating for her clients across all stages of the legal process.
