Overview

Nahama Paul, known for her diligence, adaptability, and thoughtful problem-solving, is committed to delivering efficient, strategic, and effective representation to the firm’s healthcare litigation team.  She brings experience from commercial litigation, criminal defense and prosecutorial work. Her skills have been proven through careful legal research, courtroom familiarity, and a commitment to client-focused advocacy.  

Nahama’s legal career began as a federal judicial intern to the Honorable J. Paul Oetken of the Southern District of New York, where she drafted legal memos, and assisted with legal research before pre-trial conferences. As a legal extern at the Queens District Attorney’s Office, Nahama drafted accusatory instruments and discovery materials, interviewed police officers and complainants, and presented oral arguments in arraignment court. 

Nahama expanded her experience during law school as a student attorney at the St. John’s University School of Law’s Defense and Advocacy Clinic, where she represented clients charged with misdemeanor and felony offenses in Queens County.  

Nahama also gained commercial and aviation law experience at a boutique New York law firm, where she conducted legal research across diverse practice areas and drafted legal memoranda. 

Today, Nahama leverages this diverse experience to support clients through all stages of litigation. She offers a well-rounded perspective that enhances her advocacy on behalf of clients.
