Overview
John Henninger has dedicated his career to defending physicians and hospitals in medical malpractice litigation. Born and raised in Queens, he attended Stuyvesant High School before graduating from New York University and earning his law degree from St. John’s University School of Law in 1989. Only three years later, in 1992, John took his first verdict, the beginning of a distinguished trial career that has spanned more than three decades. Since then, he has continually tried medical malpractice cases, securing defense verdicts for healthcare providers in courts across every county in the New York metropolitan area.
Throughout his career, John has served as both associate and partner at respected New York defense firms, advancing to the role of named partner, at a previous firm, while building a reputation as a trusted trial attorney in the field of medical malpractice defense.
In addition to his trial work, John remains active in the professional community. He is a member of the Nassau County Bar Association and its Medical-Legal Committee, as well as the Association for Hospital Risk Management of New York. John’s longstanding commitment to defending healthcare providers, combined with his extensive trial experience, makes him a valued advocate for his clients and a substantial addition to SACS’s Healthcare Litigation Group.
