Technology

Shaub, Ahmuty, Citrin & Spratt, LLP has invested in state-of-the-art technology to enhance the productivity of our attorneys and staff, and leverage our capabilities to offer quality client support.  The Firm has engaged a leading systems integrator specializing in law firms to design and maintain our Pentium PC network.  We would be pleased to have our project manager meet with your IT staff to insure our compliance with your billing and information needs.  We pride ourselves on our commitment to comply with the technological requirements of our clients, and our system gives us the flexibility to do so.

The Firm utilizes a wide-area network with Windows 2000 as the operating system.  The network forms the foundation upon which Microsoft Word and WordPerfect word processing software combined with WorldDox document management software support the Firm's document creation and storage needs.  All users of the network have access to Microsoft Outlook for Internet e-mail.  Our system enables attorneys to perform electronic legal and medical research from their desktop workstation.  Any user of the network with proper priviledges is able to dial out to an external information source or exchange files with another firm or client.  Our financial accounting applications address client billing, attorney productivity reporting, invoice processing and financial management reporting.  The integrated docket application enables the Firm to manager firm-wide dates in a highly efficient manner.

All of our bills are computer-generated by our billing software and provide (a) the name of each individual whose time is billed, (b) the billing rate for each individual, (c) the number of hours expended on behalf of the client on any day that the individual performs services for the client, (d) a brief narrative description of the task(s) performed each day for which time is billed, and (e) the total number of hours billed for services rendered to the client by each individual during the billing period.  Disbursements and expenses are itemized by category.

The principals of Shaub, Ahmuty, Citrin & Spratt, LLP are keenly aware of the importance of adhering to clients' billing procedures.  Our software enables us to format our bills to our client's exact specifications.
